new here neurologist giving me an eeg test for possible temporal lobe epilspsy for seizures that I have been experiencing .am very scared . I have been in treatment for major depression for many years and have not improved much I awlays thought there was somethingelse wrong with me... could depression be a symptom of epilepsy that has been undiagnosed for many years?? I have been on Ativan and an antidepresnat now for a year for anxiety and dperssion, I repsonf to the Ativan but no the cymbalta

From experience could it possibly be a medication you are taking? I used to take epilim but made me very low and high in mood at times. Like on a roller coaster. Tried different meds at the time and found lamotrogine was best and didn’t get feelings of high and low anymore. The epilim was making my moods swing like crazy. Maybe could be one of your meds doing the same? Just a thought. Hope you get something sorted out.
