Colitis (inflammatory bowel disease)

I have just been diagnosed with colitis, a kind of inflammatory bowel disease. I have had epilepsy since the age of about 14, about 16 years ago.

Does anyone's else have both of these illnesses? Have you found they interact with each other at all?

Thanks,

Amy

Hi I suffer from crohns disease & also epilepsy. I am on tablets for crohns, pentasa 4000mgs daily & 150 azathipine. I take lamictal 275mgs twice daily & zonegran 200 mgs twice daily for epilepsy.I have no side effects at all & I see my consultant for crohns every 4/5 months & my epilepsy consultant every 4/6 months. You should have no problem with these illnesses Amy. All the best.. Sam.
