Hi Please can someone help I need to move my daughter from our local hospital to where her Neuro consultant is based at Salford.
PALS is closed because its weekend and I'm so worried she had a seizure in the night and is in because of severe pain and vomiting and a possible bleed on the brain which she is awaiting results of a lumbar puncture taken yesterday. I don't know how to go about this please can anyone help?

Was this move a planned move to hospital or has it come about due to your poor daughters epilepsy becoming worse? Likewise please tell me what the mileage is between where you live and the said hospital? Along with all other related details.

Obviously this is difficult without knowing all the details but I would guess they will only move her if they think it is safe to do so. However, I imagine they will not transport her themselves unless Salford have facilities they don't and that she really needs. As a patient I believe she has the right to discharge herself at any time, so if she is well enough she can do this and you can transport her to Salford.
First of all though I think your daughter needs to talk to the staff and make sure they understand what she wants and make sure they have been sent the notes from her doctor in Salford.
