Hello there,

Anti epilepsy drugs AEDs are very unpredictable tablets. What might suit might not suitable for say 100 or others. Due to the many different types of epilepsy that there are out there and all of our different thresholds of drugs resistance levels, it can take our neurologist in some cases quite a period of time before coming up with the right combination of 'Smarties' that are for us.

All AEDs have many different types of side effects. Extreme tiredness heading the top of the hit list.

If the second question is about Non epilepsy attacks, then there are no drugs for this because it is Not epilepsy. The best treatment for NEAD is for you to see a counsellor.

I hope that this helps

Kind regards

Richard

Correct that is why one should take a Multi vitamin daily which has in it iron, b complex

All drugs affect everyone in a different manner. It depends on the dosage one is given as well as the strength of the drug given. It also depends on the type of epilepsy and seizures one has. I suggest you speak to your doctor if not happy with the medication you are on. I am on Carbamazepine and Phenytoin (for years now) and am controlled at last. My seizures are Tonic Clonic. Hopefully, you will find the correct meds.
