Why do lips turn blue during a seizure?
It's not uncommon during a convulsive seizure for a person to get a blue tinge around the mouth. It's known as cyanosis. It happens when the oxygen is taken up by the vital organs, such as the brain and heart, rather than the less important ones, such as the lips. When the seizure has stopped and the person’s breathing returns to normal, so does the colour of their lips.
You have got the answer above. I want to add to this the fact that the patient does not feel anything, while in seizure. It took me, I got the big seizures (grand mal), 24 hours to recover and I got what I used to call cloud in my head, not really a headache.

Its called the Postical State that you enter after a big seizure. I go through the postical psychosis also which is what I hate the most. I try and get out of the house through wardrobes,climb behind sofas,all sorts of stuff of which I remember nothing at all.
I then come round as such depending on seizure length and feel really ill as most folk do. Then the injury pain kicks in etc etc. You know the rest
