Not sure if its epilepsy

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago and I was diagnosed with epilepsy 6 months ago I had four seizures over 2 to 3 weeks MRI and cat scan were clear and I haven't got the eeg results so my daughter done a lot of research and thinks my seizures may be diabetic and now I am totally confused I was just coming to grips with diabetes and now I'm just getting used to having epilepsy and this has really confused me can anyone help me out here thanks

Hi Sandly1:

You are experiencing diabetic seizures. The seizures will take place when you have extremely low blood sugar. In addition they can also take place with high blood sugar. The increase of sugar will most likely increase the active state of the neurons in the brain. It doesn’t mean you do have epilepsy but I can’t guarantee that. Hopefully the more tests you have the more understanding and answers you will get of your current state.
