Hello AdvPinknes:

I have been with TLE most of my life. I have experienced such headaches often following my surgery. Today they continue since do to the surgery my left side of my head where the surgery was done has become the most sensitive part and is the first place I get an indication of a headache or even a cold before it escalates. So I can feel very much on where you are coming from. It happens often as well on my part. Hang in there. Stay strong 😊

Hi

It can be common for people with epilepsy to suffer from headaches and/or migraines. It’s not fully understood why this is, but it’s possible that for some people their epilepsy and their headaches might have the same cause. If you haven’t already, it would be a good idea to speak to your GP, epilepsy nurse or epilepsy specialist about your headaches.

Regards

Jess

Hi yes there is a strong link with TLE and headaches. Ring the helpline or search the epilepsy action website has quite a bit of info here is one article seizure-journal.com/article...

I get headaches daily I wake up with them and it seems I am having seizures in my sleep without movement as it's showing on EEG but no visible signs. Had TLE for over 20years but only had continuous headaches for last few years hope you get some answers
