Hi Sandly1

If you would still like help with this, could you please post the information again. I’m finding it hard to understand what happened, and it looks like you didn’t finish your post.

Hi Sandly1

It sounds like you’re having a tough time.

Your symptoms of not been able to get up, and falling over are certainly things you should talk to your doctor about.

If they think they may be related to your epilepsy medicine, your doctors might have to change them again. It can sometimes take a while to find the right epilepsy medicine.

Here are links to the information sheets on your medicines that lists possible side-effects

medicines.org.uk/emc/produc... - Lamictal

medicines.org.uk/emc/produc... - Tegretol

It’s not surprising you are feeling so down. You have a lot to deal with, and a new medical condition to understand.

We have lots of information on epilepsy on our website, including our wellbeing section. The wellbeing section looks at self-esteem, fatigue and tiredness, memory problems, low mood, depression and stress.

I hope things improve for you soon.
