so confused by biologics? Are they different doses?!
bad effects with infliximab so suggested to go to
entyvio
so read up on that and now it’s humia?? I’ve read about it and still don’t know why this one would me? I’m UK so it’s not insurance? How do they make decisions.

Anyone with Calprotectin level higher that 6000?
It went back to >6000 again and he is going to start
Entyvio
as soon as we get approval from the insurance. What I actually want to know is if there is anyone who had Calprotectin levels this high. My son has been to 3 doctors - none of them can explain this ridiculous high result.

Most Inflammatory Disease Patients on Immunosuppressants Mount a Response to the COVID-19 Vaccine (But Can Vary a Lot by Medication)
IL-12/23 or IL-23 inhibitors include such therapies as Stelara, Tremfya, and Skyrizi; integrin inhibitors include
Entyvio
. The other good news was that combining therapies, such as taking methotrexate along with a TNF inhibitor, did not have an additional reduction on antibody levels.

Cimzia and Minor Eye Hemorrhage
I've been on Remicade, Humira,
Entyvio
, and Enbrel and those are just the biologics I've failed. There are endless other failed meds, and I am so very very tired. It has been a long, hard road. I need this to work. I want to try Cimzia again just to make sure it wasn't a one time event.

How long before seeing results from Entyvio?
Entyvio
is rather new to pediatric patients so no one here really knows how long it will take to work, if it is going to. Can anyone tell me how long it took to see results from
Entyvio
infusions?? Thanks.

For those who found help with diet changes, especially Paddison Program
I am on medication and am currently taking
Entyvio
, which is gut specific and is keeping gut symptoms at bay, and Imuran and Methotrexate (which I'm currently working up to a higher dose).

Methotrexate for Crohn's related arthritis
I'm currently on
Entyvio
which is gut specific and has my GI symptoms in check, but my extra-intestinal symptoms are flaring including arthritis and iritis. I've been on Imuran with Enytvio, but that hasn't gotten rid of my flare, so my rheumatologist added Methotrexate.

Newbie
I begin
entyvio
next month and it is my last hope before surgery becomes a reality. Currently I am having to have iv fluids once or twice a week due to the dehydration and my pulse rate jumping high.

Crohn's Disease for over 35 years
My specialist is not pleased with my choice not to be on another biologic like Humara or
Entyvio
but I am convinced they are poison! My last fecal protectin test showed high levels of inflammation but I am working on lowering that with diet. I would be happy to offer my help to anyone!
