Little update, things not so good.

So as of late I am now on 8 tablets a day, I'm trying not to take them all as I'm left feeling groggy, tired and with a splitting headache, unable to arise for University in time or left with incredibly shaking hands. The pain is now focused on mainly my right side and there intense pressure after I've gone to the toilet it is getting hard to walk and I'm losing sleep over it. MY GP has been unhelpful and and I have been in and out of A&E about 4 times now, each as unhelpful as the other.

Any advice or home remedies would be much appreciated as I play the waiting game no, I'm fed up and have had enough. It's like I have no fight left in me anymore, it's wasting energy I'm slowly running out of.

Dear Charlie - Chuck,

So sorry to hear about everything U say, say strong girl ! Everything will work out for U .

For home remedies I recommend Evening primrose oi ( does help over a period of the month , really good staff ! ) no coffee at all ! apparently it increase estrogen levels in women very bad for us with endo , try spiritual healing ( pray if U can DOES HELP !) at least it help to calm us down and bring peace to our soul .

Books like Dr. Eben Alexander's - proof of heaven near-death experience is the most astounding I have read in more than four decades of studying this phenomenon. He is living proof of God ! And God will help U and U will be healed I believe that everything will work out for U , my prayers go for U . If U need to talk to someone Anglican church has women priests now - they can help just by listening to U , sometimes we need it , someone sincerely feel sorry for u .

God Bless , everything will be good !

Hello,

I experienced months of pain after Laproscopy and became desparate. I had the mirena coil fitted at the same time as the lap (I had previously had one that had worked wonders). However, for 6-7 months after surgery, I was still in constant pain. The consultant had prescribed provera 10mg to be taken 3 times a day, diclofenac and codeine if required.

The provera caused horrible stomach cramps and bleeding and I couldn't take the codeine whilst working as I couldn't concentrate. I became sick of relying on tablets and was a bit depressed that that was how my life was going to be.

I did a bit of research about the endo diet and decided to rule out food groups one at a time to see how that helped. I decided to go gluten-free for 4 weeks to see if that helped.

I started to feel a bit better within the first week of gluten free, then things improved massively as I continued. I have also dropped a bit of weight, have more energy so I can go to the gym and I almost feel like a new woman. I would definitely recommend giving it a go.

I still get days where I have pain but no where near as bad as it was. I now take no medication at all (I still have the mirena).

I hope this helps xx

I'm not sure whether you've been diagnosed or what treatment you're on so it's hard to comment - are you seeing a gynae?

Painkillers can make you very drowsy when you start but that will pass - I've been on morphine for 9 years, and I'm now on enough to kill a horse without any drowsiness from it.

My endo really became an issue for me in my second year of uni and I missed my finals having an emergency lap so I know it can be very tough. Make sure you speak to your personal tutor so they can support and help you,

x
