gynae appointment... what to ask? what to tell?

I've just got the date for my first gynae appointment since the GP said I have endo, I have no idea what I should ask and I was thinking of making some notes to take with me regarding symptoms etc but don't know what's relevant.. Any ideas?

hi Kaz take all the information about your symptoms with you.The type of pain you have,where it is ,when you get it,etc The Gynae will ask the questions but you might have some yourself so dont be afraid to ask. I always suggest taking another pair of ears with you because we dont always take the info on board. The Gynae may want to do an internal examination aswell so be prepared for that one. Oh joy I'm starting to feel like it's a right of way up there these days haha. Thankfully my husband is coming with me and he's under strict instructions to listen as I'm bound to be too flustered to remember, thanks for the heads up x
