How long until your first lap?

Have an appointment to see the Gynae consultant this month, how long did you have to wait from this point to your lap? So run down at the moment am in so much pain I've started with the sickness or constant sick feeling! Would just like to see some light at the end of the tunnel to know I can be diagnosed! I had first lap yest to diagnose endo. It took 4 weeks from seeing the consultant to getting the lap. So didnt have to wait that long.

Hi there, I saw my Obs and Gynae Consultant yesterday due to ongoing pain after child birth in May and an ERPC to clear my uterus of retained placenta then unfortunatley contracted pseudomonas which is a serious infection in womb area...due to symptoms not getting any better consultant wants to do lap himeself, had pre assess and bloods yest and they said could take up to 6 to 8 weeks, literally however, just has a call this morningto ask if I would be able to have it done Monday which I'm very surprised at1 So I guess if you're willing to drop everything if you can at a moment's notice and get a slot then take it! I'm on maternity so bit easier for me to say that! I jumped at the chance as I go back to work in 4 weeks and was worried re this, good luck

Hi, I had my first consultant appointment at the end of August and my lap (didn't have a diagnostic lap the surgeon went straight to lap with excision surgery and removal of cyst and part of an ovary) at the end of Oct - my wait was 8 weeks. I also had an elevated CA125 but that was because of the chocolate cyst. Good luck.

Hi ELP1990, I was wondering the exact same thing, I have my first Gynae Clinic appointment later today, I suspect Endo myself but who knows. I have had lower back period pain every day now for 3 months, am on a cocktail of painkillers, still in pain and very down. Just hoping I have and understanding Consultant who will listen. Fingers Crossed.
