Hello Ladies,
I would just like to share my thoughts after the Endo Uk info day and training session. It was quite an emotional rollercoaster, as you can imagine. It was really cool to have the chance to meet lots of Endo ladies face to face and to share our experiences whilst it was quite intense to finally accept the fact that I suffer from Endo. Having spent some years feeling quite alone about this, I finally felt as though I was confronting the disease for the first time instead of allowing it to consume me.
It was really inspiring and beautiful to be in a safe place where Endo sisters could come together and support each other. A bit like this forum, but with tea and coffee provided.
I would ask that anyone who is able to and isn't already should consider becoming a member of Endo Uk and help support the wonderful work that is being done to try and support us all. Check out the website for more details. It's thanks to them that we have this great space online to talk and share our experiences.
The training provided was excellent and I'm really looking forward to getting the Glasgow City support group up and running over the summer.
