I am currently being treated for endo with zolodex and need hrt as well. I have had 3 periods in 5 weeks and in so much pain when I should be getting no periods! Waiting to have a coil fitted and a camera to see what is going on, had this condition for 5 years now. Please give done help. X

i'm much the same - my periods vary from 4 days to 12 but i keep a note of them and i am on my period 3 weeks out of 4 generally. i had the camera (if you're meaning a hysterocopy) they took a biopsy at the same time, inside of womb presented no problems though they fitted the mirena coil too, thats been in since july, the first month or so was horrendous but after that i did get a couple of months of light bleeding only, i still all had the symptoms and the pain though but at least the bleeding was one less thing to deal with.

since christmas though my periods are becoming much more frequent and heavier. I don't yet have a diagnosis of endo, my gp suspects it though. i have a large cyst on my left ovary which they want me to wait to see if it grows anymore, they dont know what type of cyst it is yet either. they don't seem to understand the daily pain i'm in, i call it my normal pain, and then there is the bursts of chronic pain every few days, which can be minutes or hours.

i hope you get sorted out :) x

Hi

I am not on zolodex, but gazette. But it is the same, at first four weeks, now (after almost 5 month) I am down to one week, but it seems to get lighter, my pain is, well, I can live with it. They say it takes 6 to 9 month until your body gets used to it. I am counting the days. However, if it is not getting better, you should maybe ask to try a different pill.

Good luck

Hi, thank you for replying to my question, I contacted my gyne consultant and he has now put me in the urgent list for the procedure that I am having done so it's a case of just waiting for a phone call to go in. Hopefully it's soon as its been a nightmare! Your answers have been very useful xx
