hi I suffered a lot with endometriosis since younger didn’t get diagnosis with it till I years later and as I had 4 children and didn’t want any more I was offered a hysterectomy via ablation a new treatment just out were they insert a ballon once it hurts it burns away the uterus, but I declined due to some of the complications that could occur

It was a good job I declined as my thyroid complications that I was going through at the time pushed me into early menopause

I went for a ultrasound in jan, internal also and I have a cyst on one ovary, they couldn’t see my other ovary and couldn’t on my last ultrasound either funny enough, also they noted my endometrium had a cystic appearance

Just wondering if this could have any links to the endometriosis I had all those years previous even though Iv not had a period since I was in my late 30’s

Tia

I take Levofloxacin, have done same for many years, waiting for result of blood test 10 days ago. Not sure if my PCD affects it. Jean x

yes it can be endo. Endo doesn’t need your periods to keep growing and in fact can continue after menopause as it can produce its own oestrogen and keep growing. Definitely worth seeing a Gynae to discuss just make sure they have extra training in endo.
