Hello, I am 9 days post op from laproscopy, is this normal please? This is this the pelvis area incision. I don't have pain there etc.

Hi there, It looks raw. If you are like me it will bubble up a bit and take longer to heal flat. Thats the Endo effect. Your body over reacting, either slower to heal and then over healing, perhaps a little inflammatory issues, scar may take longer to go into a white line.

Hello thank you so much for replying. I was just worried that it might be an infection which I'm guessing not 🥺

Hi, You might. It quite normal to have a little. Just don't touch it. Nor wet it. If you have touched it and it et worse then see someone. In a few more days you could give it single wipe across with salt melted in boiled water which is now only warm a cotton bud. Try not to get the cut wet. As I say this is only if its slight in a few days as I say if it get worse smelly and weeping then go see someone. Usually it should crust over. Dry out, perhaps a small yellow bit if a stitch is there. Best wishes. x

Hello 🙂 if you are concerned go and see your doctor. If that were my stitches, it’s exactly what I would be doing. Hope that helps x
