TMI - butts and endo

So I had my first laparoscopy just over a week ago, and the endo was removed from my bowel as far as I'm aware. Since my surgery I have developed Hemorrhoids. Is there any link between endo and roids at all? I know bowel endo is not as common, and I don't know if I have specifically bowel endo. Any advice or wise words would be welcomed! I don't know if I've got them from being stuck in bed or not!

Hello fellow bowel endo sufferer 👋 oh that’s all you need. Are you on any painkillers? As they bulk your stools so that maybe causing your piles. Mine was at their worse before the op and much better afterwards. I used a product called Hemoclin it’s pricey but really helped. Good luck with your recovery 🤞 xx

I've been taken codeine since my op for the pain, but was prescribed laxtolos to soften to poo, but even with soft poo it's like cranberry juice! I'm seeing my consultant again on Monday for my Hemorrhoids so hopefully he will give me me some more info! But this is the thing, my follow up isn't until 4-5 weeks after my surgery to know if I just have endo or bowel endo, but fairly certain I'm part of the bowel endo crew!
