A&E or not?

So, I’m currently on my period, they are always painful and feel like my insides are falling out and like contraction pain constantly. I think I may of had blood in my urine when I went to the toilet last night but I’m not really 100% sure as I’m on my period. Today I’ve still got the same pains but also feel nauseous and dizzy. My husband wants me to go get checked out at the walk in centre or a&e but I don’t want to go incase I’m just wasting their time. Also, I have not been diagnosed with endo but having a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in around 3 months to investigate.

Hi lovely, I’m so sorry you’re in so much pain. Don’t feel like you’re wasting anyone’s time, if you’re in pain you deserve to get help. I’ve been to A&E for my endo pain before and they were lovely and did their best to help. They gave me some strong painkillers which helped and also felt my stomach to make sure everything felt okay. Its always best to be on the safe side and get checked out xx

I’m sorry to hear how awful things are for you, that sounds really rough. Im hoping you’re feeling a bit better by now. A good option for you may be calling 111, as you definitely sound like you need better pain relief! 111 can be a much shorter wait time but will still refer you to a&e if they think it’s necessary.
