Numbness post laparotomy

Hi guys

I am 10 weeks post laparotomy which removed an endometrioid. They made an incision across my uterus. My lower belly is still quite numb, I assume this is normal as obviously the nerve endings would have been cut.

How long will that area be numb for? I feel so disconnected from my body
