Hi Can you explain what you mean exactly by groin pain?

I get horrible sharp electric pains in what feels like my bones of my thighs, aches where it feels like my bones have weights attached to them. Pain feels like trying to force my hip joints apart. Sometimes all of this pain goes down through my thighs all the way to my calves. I have had nights where I am in so much pain and muscle so tight that it feels like it burning, I can't sleep.

I am not officially diagnosed with endo as I have yet to find a doctor who wants to take me seriously.

I am however prescribed 2mg Visanne which is for "endo symptoms"

And am also on 50mg a day of Amitriptyline for my bladder pain and symptoms

Both of these meds have made my daily life almost normal. I dont think I would say they have stopped the severity of flares, maybe lessened the frequency.

Hope some of this helped.

Hey there ! You pretty much described all my symptoms . Groin pain is basically deep burning pain in the groin area which is basically where your pubic bone meets your thigh . The line part where your leg meets your private area. This feels very tender when I push down on it and it causes me so much burning pulling aching pain all day . On both sides :/ I take visanne too but it did nothing for me I hope it works for you xxx I’m still awaiting answers for this crap xxx

I do, I wondering if it’s connecting to your glands?

I had my lymph nodes checked and they said it was fine . Thanks for asking though xxx I’m currently getting additional scans and things to rule out non endo related problems xxxxx

Please get a professional to medically examine your groin lymph nodes . There are several medical conditions related to groin pain caused by the tension built up from constantly tensing that area Becuase of endo pain . They are piriformis syndrome, sciatica , sacroiliac joint disorder and pinched nerve . I hate endo but I also hate when doctors blame endo for everything rather than investigating properly xxxx

Hello Fooofs91 :) I get the same though only the left side, mine radiates from the hip to the knee. I also get ovary pain at the same time one the same side, also heat in the area when it’s happening. I’m not officially diagnosed been on the waiting list for a laparoscopy since June 2020. I have recently been diagnosed with a bladder prolapse & I have diastasis recti but the symptoms you & I have described, point to endo. I hope this helps. Have you been diagnosed? And how long have you you been having these pains? XxX

Hello sis :) thank you for your response !!! Yesss absolutely :/ I have had this for 6 years now . When I first started getting pain and after my laparoscopic surgery . I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2017 :O and it definitely is the reason for my pain but I am also recently finding out I have a bulging disc in my back which has caused leg pains but it’s not suppose to cause pain in the front of the leg and knees so I’m assuming it’s the endometriosis :/ . Are you awaiting a diagnosis ? I hope you get some answers for your pain maybe consider having a spine MRI I had one by chance and luckily it found out other reasons for this dreaded pain xxxx sending healing hugs

Wow, such a long time to be suffering!!! And sorry to here about the bulging disc 😞 I hope you get to the bottom of it as soon as. Yes I’m waiting for a diagnosis, as I said in my earlier reply since waiting for laparoscopy the doctor diagnosed me with a bladder prolapse. I have had the bladder symptoms for near 18yrs & just thought it was normal & got on with it 😣 Makes me feel a little silly but am glad it’s going to be getting seen too. It has knocked me back a little because I’m wondering maybe that’s causing my infertility or the suspected endo is. It’s all so much to grasp as up until about 2 & a half years ago I didn’t know anything about endometriosis etc. I find this is a comforting place to come, when in need of reassurance or information though. It helps a lot. Thank you 😊 Sending healing hugs back your way too ❤️

Hi I haven’t been diagnosed with endo yet but i have all the symptoms specialists I’ve spoken to have said they think it’s endo but cannot rule it out without a laparoscopy then say they dont want to do a laparoscopy and just book me in for another ultrasound but iv currently got pain in my right groin going down to my legs I’ve been back and forth for years trying to get diagnosed they just want me to take birth control without diagnosis also been about knee pain it’s unexplainable its like throbbing from my kneecap down to my ankles it lasts hours and nothing i do helps and feels horrible to walk on sometimes i get it in my hips and back aswell and as iv been doing more research i noticed other women say about leg aches and pain with endometriosis. Sorry for all this im new on here and havent ever spoken to anyone with it .

Hello my love :) honestly speaking from 6 years of experience through this long winded journey . I would recommend you have a spinal mri first to rule out any problems with the spine that causes that pain that runs down our legs . I do believe it is also endo related but you would want to rule that out Becuase of you do have endo doctors will just blame all problems on the endo and God forbid you end up like me waiting in agony for years . Also definetly push to see a gynaecologist . Ultra sounds really show only massive cysts they don’t show endo only an MRI. Can show deep infiltrating endometriosis and scar tissue so if you can push for a spinal and pelvic mri . If you live in the U.K. there is a cheat code for this Becuase doctors do not want to refer for mri without reason . You Have to contact your doctor and lie and say you have so much pain from lower back down to feet and it was triggered by extensive exercise . ONLY THEN WILL THESE DOCTORS REFER YOU TO SEE A PHYSIO AND THEN FOR MRI :) then you can ask for the copy of your pelvic mri to send to a gynaecologist to assess for endometriosis whilst the physiotherapist will check your hips , spine and knees . That’s what I have found out works xxxxxx
