Laparoscopy recovery

Yesterday I finally had my first laparoscopy after 13 years trying to get GPS to believe my symptoms were endo. I have been diagnosed with endo and had endo removed. The pain in my stomach is so much worse then I thought it would be and it kills when I move! Has anyone else suffered with really bad pain like this? I also keep having to go to the toilet to wee constantly and each time my bladder is not emptying fully. Did anyone else have this and how long until this went away?

Hi, I had bad pain after my laparoscopy in September. It will ease over the next week or so. Also had problems going to the toilet to start with, could be related to the general anaesthetic.

Hope you’re feeling a lot better soon. For me my endo pain has greatly reduced (after recovering) so hopefully it will all be worth it 😊

Thanks for your reply. I am hoping it will ease off soon as I really didn’t think it was going to be as painful as it has been! Glad to hear your endo pain has been reduced 😊
