Constant need and urge to wee

I was diagnosed with endo years ago now (after a huge battle) I received treatment and went on to have 2 children. Iv always been on the same pill and my symptoms are mild now (thankfully) but I always have a constant need to wee and once I feel the need im already desperate or at worse leaking 🙄 do you think this could be linked? Or just the fact my 2 children have destroyed any pelvic floor I have?? Iv been signed off from hospital so not sure weather to see the gp or just accept its motherhood 🤔

Great you got endo sorted and had children, still sounds like you had a tough time getting there though.

I had lots of frequency issues last year, diagnosed with endo December but also have fibroids. I sussed that I only get it if I sit upright too long, so I’m putting this down to one or other.

It wouldn’t do any harm to contact GP and have a chat. Might just be an infection 🤞

Hey I’ve recently been diagnosed with Endo and haven’t had any children yet but I literally wee constantly so I know how you feel! Not sure if it’s linked or not but I assume it does have some kind of impact. I also will go think I’m finished then 2 minutes later need to go again it’s so frustrating! X

I am the exact same haha! I'm only 24, no kids but TTC for the last year and a half. But weeing constantly as well as pathetic little wees in between and then sickness in the morning. So difficult as well as the pains as they're all pregnancy symptoms so it's a cruel world haha. X

Before I was diagnosed the doctors kept telling me I was pregnant even though I knew I wasn't. Was only a last straw that the sent me for further investigation

It’s so annoying isn’t it! Yeah I’m 27 and only diagnosed in august this year. Haven’t had anything removed though as it was worse than they thought it would be so have to wait for another op! I may as well be pregnant as I have the symptoms and have the bloated belly to go with it as well 😂 x

How old are you? I've always had bouts of this but now I'm reaching peri menopause ( I'm 45) it's got so much worse. I've noticed it's in the second half of my cycle and I find caffeine and alcohol make it much worse !

I also have endo and a child but it really started getting worse in the last year or so.

I had endo excised 5 weeks ago and funnily enough it seems to have helped my constant need to pee problem. It’s so strange after all this time. I can’t work it out as it was removed from the peritoneal wall. So could be related somehow x

You might have endo pressing on the bladder I think I had this

And I have children

It could be so many things but if it's causing you distress I'd start by speaking to GP who could refer to urology. It was one of the worst symptoms for me. It turned out endo had infiltrated by bladder and the uterovesical fold. Urinary frequency and urgency along with extreme pain on emptying were my primary symptoms. I had the former symptoms for years and the pain started right when my endo symptoms came to the fore and got much worse after an initial surgery that didn't actually see anything near the bladder. I was urinating at least 8 times a night. A lot of urine too not just dribbles. Constantly feeling like I needed to go. Daily maybe 30 times a day. Started to not make it to the toilet. And the extreme pain on emptying was very distressing. It was much much much worse during ovulation time for me. I was referred to a bsge centre and they referred me to one of their urologists who diagnosed interstitial cystitis and I had a few procedures done that helped with the frequency. Then my surgery showed the infiltration. Pretty much had immediate relief of bladder symptoms after that surgery. No issues now and I've had a baby since. So definitely start with gp as urinary issues in my experience only tend to progress without intervention. Pelvic physio could help too.
