Laparoscopy, endo found

Hi,

I came out of surgery at 4pm yesterday and feeling pretty sore the consultant found quite a lot of endo in urethra, my right overy and near my back.

Can anyone help on the below photo?

I’ve also been told I might have Turner Syndrome - after he found a steak overy

How long can I expect recovery to take?

I’ve got a initial 2 weeks off - should I need any more?

I’m losing my current job next month should I tell a new manager

What about friends

Was this carried out in a specialist endo centre?

Others can hopefully share recovery experiences but this link might help describe what you might expect after excision of severe endo. It is a very major surgery and you will take time to heal. Let your body guide you and don't be afraid to say you are not ready yet.

The reference to 'nodules' is deep infiltrating endo. The UV pouch is the uterovesical pouch in the peritoneum between the bladder and uterus. The posterior aspect of the uterus and uterosacral ligament is rectovaginal endo. If you are in England the NHS England treatment specification for severe/RV endo is below. Note that you are not discharged until 6 months and only then if you have no complications.
