Unsure what’s going on

I saw my consultant March and was told I’ll be having surgery again in summer. I explained about my ribs hurting in time with coming on just my left side and he didn’t really listen so I’m unsure if it’s related or not. But I’m really struggling with everything at the moment I started taking cerelle pill which hasn’t helped yet I’m on my second month of been on it as it’s a pill you always take and my first period was still heavy but lasted longer than normal and then I’ve just come on now which is a week early and I’m so much pain still. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice as I’m really struggling I just want the surgery now but with everything I’m not sure what’s happening with that either.

It’s a horrible time to be waiting. You could try contacting the consultants secretary, unfortunately I’m not sure they’ll be much help, they’d want to be, just don’t know themselves.

Have you tried contacting GP? Their service is running, but likely by telephone. They can probably/hopefully help somehow.

Sorry I can’t help with actual advice on the pill. Take care

Thank you so much for replying I’m going to try them tomorrow when I have a bit more time to focus as I can’t really think straight today as didn’t sleep well last night.

Keep safe lovely x

Let us know how it goes. Notes can be useful once you’ve had some rest.

Were you given cerelle to help? I've not heard of doing that. I'm on it purely for birth control reasons but omg, I want to get off it. Trying to get the coil which apparently may help the endo too.

Irregular bleeding is really common with this pill, even when you don't have endo. I've had nothing but problems being on cerelle. I bleed alllll the time. Was sent for a scan because they couldn't fit a coil without checking it and found I have endometriomas on my ovaries again, so now waiting on a gyno appt. I don't think the endometriomas cause bleeding, and I'm 99% sure it's the pill causing it.

Also really watch your mental health on this pill, I've really struggled with it for so many reasons.

Thank you so much. I have been really struggling but just put it down to been in lockdown down and not seeing my family and not having a garden to let my two little ones play in. But might be the pill. I wanted to go on the combined pill but they wouldn’t let me as I get lots of headaches so risk of strokes. I’m on it to try help with the amount of bleeding and pains but really making things worse to be fair. As before I was like clockwork but the pains and bleeding just struggling i was crying every time I went for a wee with the pain etc. I guess will see I’m going to try call docs or hospital tomorrow see what they can recommend.

Thank you so much for your help keep safe lovely xx

I had my Laparoscopy surgery about four weeks ago and I'm still recovering from surgery. I was like you in my early stages of endometriosis and the things that really helped me was:

- Pilates for endometriosis by Jessica Valant Pilates. (check out her You Tube channel

- Yoga For Pelvic Pain, Endometriosis & Fibroids (45-min) Full Class by Brett Larkin Yoga

- Heal Pain Naturally from within: A Guided Mindfulness Meditation - The Mindful Movement

- A hot water bottle will help ease the pain you are experiencing.

- Drink lots of herbal teas like pepper mint, camomile and ginger and lemon

- A change in diet - cut out wheat, gluten, soya and red meat.

- I would recommend being a vegatarian (but that is your choice) because all meats contain a lot of hormones and that is not particularly good for the human body.

- Go organic

- Drink lactose free milk. - This will ease a bloated tummy.

- cut out caffeine (if you drink it) and drink decaf tea instead.

- eat lots of green veggies too! :)

Trust me these things will change your life and your body/overall health.

I wish you well. All the best to you! <3
