With everything going on, are women with large endo cysts under the health risk of coronavirus? Might be a silly question, just seen it on the news. Pregnant women need to be careful, people with underlying health conditions should be careful. Would that include endo and large ovary cysts? Generally don’t know, someone enlighten me please xxx

Hello the health conditions they are talking about are things like heart conditions, lung disease, cancers (a quick Google can give you the full list) . As these can effect how your body fights off illnesses as your immune system is already compromised with these. And the lung one is because it effects your lungs so obviously a higher risk of complications.
So no endo doesn't count as one of the underlying health conditions that mean you need to be more cautious.
Sorry, that isn't completely true. The once that are listet are the once the scientists know by now. Only time and studies will show if there are more underlying health conditions resulting in higher risks of complications.
The research for endo is so underfunded you can bet that nobody even thought to think of it as a potential risk with coronavirus. On the other hand, endo could for some still unknown reasons lower the risk to catch that virus or even make us immune or it makes no difference at all.
As with many other things when it comes to endo, nobody can tell us now.
