Really low and unbearable pain..

Hi all, this is just a general post. I've been in severe pain, easily one of the worst I've suffered. I've previously given birth (no meds) and had gall stones. This pain is knocking that out of the park! I feel so alone and because ethe pain is inside, it's like no one can see it so no one can understand. When the pain is at its worst I'm either passing out or sick. It's severely effecting my life so much. I'm on the menopause injections and on the surgical list for Feb, but I wish that was tomorrow. I literally don't care what is done to get me out of pain. Sorry, just had to rant to people who understand :( I'm afraid I'm pushing everyone away and making myself isolated.

Hello there!

I really know how you feel. Have been on a constant pain journey for 2.5yrs now and nothing seems to keep my Endo at bay!

My advise to you would be to see if you can speed up the laparoscopy (private?) as at least you will get a break sooner.

I could not have waited a min longer for NHS to get me on the list-6 months I was told...

Hang in there and try and stay positive xx

Thank you so much for the positive words of encouragement.

Even just typing words and speaking on here is helping more than I ever thought it would. How are u feeling? X

I found sharing one’s struggle with people that are going through the same thing is truly amazing and therapeutic

Today is a difficult and painful day however hoping tomorrow to be better x

Hi. I sympathise with you. I'm in so much pain, I had a lap 4 months ago and if anything the pain is worse now. I've managed to get my follow up brought forward. I'm currently on the pill and he was talking about the chemical menopause injections but I've heard mixed reports so don't know what to do?! What treatment have u tried? Are you going to have a hysterectomy?

Thank you so much for the reply, I appreciate it so much. I'm currently on the menopause having prostap injections. Having my 3rd injection Monday. I'm just in constant pain and I hate being so negative. I've always been such a positive person, but now I'm so low and hate hearing myself constantly moan :( so sorry for ranting on!! X

Don't worry I think we are all in the same boat! It's a horrible thing to have, it's hard for other people to understand. I feel like I'm constantly moaning! Have u tried Depo injections or mirena coil?

I've had the more a coil for 2.5 years after I lost my last baby. I just feel like I want everything ripped out. Just having one of those weeks I think. My hot water bottle is my best bud 👍 x

I understand, it is the worst pain and you can’t explain how bad it is. I had the menopause injections but they didn’t help me much because my pain is all of the time , not just at the time of the month. Surgery will help and I got the marina coyle put in during surgery which has helped quite a bit. I hope your ok. Acupuncture works too if your gp will refer you. Good luck for February xx

Hi - so sorry to hear you’re in so much pain. I totally empathise. I’ve been in chronic daily pain for weeks now - it’s so crippling, excruciating, draining, depressing & like you my hot water bottle has been my best friend. I’m also having prostrap injections - I’ve had 3.

But Ive finally had a breakthrough!! I started taking gabapentin & OMG for the first time in months I’ve had a whole week without pain. 7 whole days. I’m so happy I can’t describe & just praying it lasts. I was dreading spending Christmas Day in bed with my hot water bottle. 😢

It might not work for everyone but it’s definitely worth a try. Good luck. Really hope you find some relief. This condition is just awful. X

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Just hearing and knowing someone understands and knows how you feel strangely helps so much.

I hate how negative I'm turning and feel like such a wimp. I feel like I can handle a decent amount of pain usually, but not this. Thanks for the tip on the meds. I'll definitely be heading to the doctors and asking about this 👍 x

I totally understand. I’m no wimp either but the pain is off the scale! Worse than labour as there is no end to it. I’ve literally had daily flare ups lasting 4 -8 hours, crippled in pain, curled in a ball, crying. It’s horrific. I can’t believe in this day & age that there is no cure & women have to suffer like this.

Really hope it works for you. It’s like a miracle. I’m on such a high to be free from pain.

Best of luck x
