Bone pain on Zoladex for Endometriosis

I've been on Zoladex for Endomtriosis for 2 months now and have felt a massive improvement.

I'm not getting the menopause side effects of hot flashes and sweats but, oh god the pain in my bones! Especially my wrists and hands.

Does anyone have any recommendations for something that could help with the bone pain?

Prostap for 6 months but didn’t help with endo pain that much so was switched to Zoladex. Had 3 months of HRT but was taken off them because of some side effects I was getting. I’m 22, so this is all a bit daunting.

Hi Laura I had achy fingers for a few months but it’s worn off. If you’re in a lot of pain I’d go back to your specialist to check things are ok. Are you being offered dexa scans?

I haven't been offered a dexa scan yet, but I'm going to ask my specialist for one, it's better to be safe than sorry

Hi Laura..

I also have been on Zoladex 10.8g end of Aug for Endo pain...I was given Kliogest as Add back therapy to protect my bones n side effects of the Zoladex...However, pain has been better besides excessive hot flushes , nausea n Sometimes vomiting ...We stopped the Kliogest bcoz it gave me chest pains n we now trying Primolut N which hasn't been effective either... I'm 23
