Hi, i have suspected endo and am trying out the Cerazette mini pill. I was pain free for 6 weeks and then all of a sudden had awful back/pelvis pain and then a big bleed overnight. The pain break seemed so short lived and I wasn't expecting a heavy bleed - the pill leaflet says some irregular bleeding is normal but if heavy bleeding occurs then consult a GP. The pains are still strong but the bleeding has stopped. Do you think I should make an appointment? I just think they'll say it's still early days and my body needs time to settle. Has anyone else on Cerazette experienced this?

Many thanks x

I'd go back if the pain is bad. Have you had a gynocology referal for a laparoscopy? Personally I'd be pushing for it and an answer either way. Unfortunately sometimes you have to be really persistent to get to the right people who can help. Good luck 🍀

Morning! I had lap surgery and was diagnosed 28th April. After this whole process that started nearly two years ago one thing I would say is if you aren’t happy get straight back to the doctors. It’s easy just to crack on (like I did) and try and be patient however, cerezette I have tried. I sent me into a crazy anxious mess! Having only rarely suffered with anxiety in my 30 years of life! Cerezette was amazing for the the first month and I noticed a substantial change in my first period so I was raving about the miricle to my friends who knew I had been suffering for so long. I really did think that I was on track to getting back to some kind of monthly normality or even no period what so ever! Then the 3rd 4th and 5th month hit and it was back to usual. I’d been to the doctors 3/4 times during this trail and on the 6th month I went and literally cried and I said I can’t do this! My face had ballooned despite loosing a lot of weight just before I went on it and she took me straight off it and referred me to gyne for lap. This was October last year. All I am saying is listen to your body. The work I have had done in surgery is ridiculous and no one expected it to be as bad as it was - even my surgeon joked that I probably won’t even need the coil when he gets in. I was riddles in stage 4 severe endo, a 6cm Endometrioma to my ovary and adhesions so bad my ovary was fused to my bladder and pelvis wall (not sure how that works) I have been discharged for 6 months to see how I get on with the endo they found on my bladder and bowel. Don’t mess about waiting if you aren’t happy with the contraption attempts. I wish I hadn’t bothered it could have saved me so much time and anxiety x
