I have been receiving Universal Credit which will be stopping soon. Does anyone receive or no of a benefit that is not income based that we as endo sufferers can benefit from? I cannot work and I need daily help with my daughter who's almost 2, not to mention the mental health side that is affected by this horrible disease. I'd be grateful for any advice, thanks xxx

Hi I'm so sorry I don't know, but I really hear what you're going through. My little girl is 2 in September and I really sympathise with you, especially the mental health side as you say, it's so hard to live like this. Loads of love to you Xxx

You need to see Citizens advice (cab) they will do a benefit check and tell you what you are eligible for and how to claim it. But you can also google benefit checker online. I think there’s a website turn2us that offers an online benefit check. But cab will help you more.

You can request PIP. personal independence payment. It's not income based and is based on two parts mobility and mental health. Look it up online and request a from from DWP. Just a tip..make sure when filling in the form you put details of you worst day. Be specific in tasks you cannot do and need someone else to do for you. If you are a single mum you should also ask for help from social services. They should be able to help provide assistsnce in caring for your daughter in your home if you are so disabled and this is a problem for you. Don't be scared or polite. Be honest and truthful even if the information affects your dignity. Write everything down in detail, use extra sheets if necessary or type up on the computer and print out as I did. Good luck xx
