Hi I’m new to this and would like some advice. I’ve not been diagnosed as I’m on a none urgent 10 month waiting list to see someone. The GP thinks I have it but not had a definite yes. Does anyone else miss periods? Does anyone hurt so much where they can’t walk? 😞. I don’t know if it’s normal or not.
Thank you

The pain is crippling at times, I once thought I was going to faint (die) the pain was so bad, I couldn’t walk, sit, stand, didn’t know what to do so was just crumpled on the floor. Not to scare you or anything, just reassuring that you’re not alone, and yes, the pain can get that bad. This has also affected my love life as the same as you, intercourse is very painful. Your GP should offer strong pain killers after diagnosis. Not the best solution, but does help to manage the pain. Hope that helps x
Well Sunday morning I was close to phoning and ambulance as I thought I was going to die. The pain was that bad I couldn’t even catch my breath. Well they have give me naproxen and I take them with paracetamol. I just need to know that I’ve got it so I can deal with it. But the docs won’t change my gynaecology appointment to urgent so I’ve been waiting nearly 10 months just to have a letter to make an appointment. Yes it’s defo effects your sex life. I have to hold my right side sometimes just to make it bearable x
I miss periods (completely) due to medication but normally mine were pretty light anyway. I do have pain that causes me to be unable to walk at times as well. It’s a very difficult process to get diagnosed good luck!
