Advise for someone loosing the will

Ladies! I am really struggling, 3 months post excision lap (bladder & peritoneum endo and a 7cm ovarian cyst) and the pain is back with a vengeance. Im bloated again, I can barely sleep due to pain, I can't concentrate at work due to pain and tiredness, can't have sex 🙄. I can't exercise due to pain therefore struggling to loose any weight (even with a strict diet) 😢 I'm usually such a positive, happy person but I'm just not me anymore? I cry every day and I'm not a Cryer! I feel like (bar you wonderful ladies on this page) nobody truely understands because they cannot see any issue. I'm wondering what everybody else does to boost moral? Any tips with helping to sleep? Anything positive at all? (no painkillers help)

My heart breaks for you because i know your feelings. I feel like i have all these issues and pains but no one is willing to help me.

Sleeping I find easiest with one blanket over me, a hot water bottle over that so its not to hot against the skin, i curl up and then also put the duvet over so theres a lot of heat that makes me eventually drift off! I also watch videos on my phone (i know this is bad for your eyes) but eventually my eyes get so tired they just close!

I'm feeling like a fat blob because the pain is too much to be able to exercise so I've been trying just taking small walks. Also can't have sex, feeling like I'm about to ruin my relationship even though he is the most patient man ever and says he doesnt mind, i just feel like a let down.

Every day i find it hard to get up, but the only advice i can give is that there has to be at least one thing in every day worth getting up for, so get up and find out what it is!

I feel for you. Have you tried progesterone pills?

I haven't even heard of these before. Every doctor I have seen seems like they have no idea about endo

Hiya its awful going through this. We all have days when there is nothing else to do but lie in bed with a hot water bottle and cry. People dont get it as you say and you feel like you are constantly moaning about it because it consumes your whole life. Mine is back after a hysterectomy so I get the hopelessness you feel. I find Valerian tablets help with sleep, they are natural. Give them a go as at least if you can sleep you are able to function a bit better. As for pain relief, I have tried so many with no luck, they make me feel very ill with side effects so not good. Hopefully today will be a good day...good luck xx

It sounds like either the excision surgeon was not experienced enough or didn't remove all endo. I would suggest changing your lifestyle considerably: reduce stress as much as possible, sleep at least from 11 pm till 8 am, go on a healthy diet. Start with a week of veggies and omega 3-rich fish, then introduce eggs, nuts and fruit, then after a week grass-fed meat and gluten-free grains.

Thank you all so much! I will give all suggestions a go!

If it is endometriosis medicines will help. What medicines decided by whether you want pregnancy now or not. What about painful and irregular periods?

No I don't want pregnancy now. I don't have periods as I'm on the depo injections. Dr's advised me to stay on it or the endo & cysts will be worse x
