Endo, Constant Pain, Terrified, Need Advice

Last October I had my Implanon removed. I had constant spotting with it and I had enough. A few months after I removed it I noticed pain after sex, I mean pain that would last for days after sex. Then the pain just wouldn't go away. I had no more spotting but I had a pain in my back and pelvic area that no pain killers would touch. I then spotted (very lightly) after sex. I returned to my doctor terrified that I might have something wrong with my cervix. She did a pelvic exam, said I looked normal. I'm in Ireland so currently the wait is approx 33 weeks for results of smear test (Yes Seriously)

My periods come every 22 days they last approx 5 days they aren't overly heavy and they bring an even worse back pain and intermittent stabbing pelvic pain.

Then when I ovulate I can't even sit with the pain!!

I haven't had sex in weeks, it terrifies me. I'm in a constant state of fear. I burst into tears for no reason. I also have a large bartholin cyst and pains down my left leg. I have no answers, no help, only pain killers that won't work. Endometriosis has been mentioned so has cervical cancer. I'm terrified. I have a small child who I can't even play with or take care of some days.

I Just wanted to list my symptoms and see if anyone has the same and can help me. I'm waiting to see a gynaecologist.

°Light Spotting After Sex

°Constant Severve lower Back Pain

°Pelvic Pain (Sometimes stabbing)

°Pain worse during ovulation

°Short Cycle

°Often hurts to sit

°Leg pain(Tingling/burning sensation)

°Low energy

°Stomach pain (on & off)

°Flank pain that can be very intense

°Sometimes pain during bowel movement

°Bartholin Cyst (Golf ball sized) that stings during period.

I was diagnosed last year as having stage 2/3 endo. Age 17 I was put on the pill due to heavy periods and severe cramps and told I also had IBS..... Fast forward to age 30, I come off the pill after getting married then bang! Heavy periods, cramps, severe ovulation pain, bloated stomach, sore pelvis area, painful bowel movements. Eventually, age 34, I get an ultrasound which shows I have a cricket ball size cyst on right ovary. This was removed last year through laparoscopy. It was stuck to everything inside of me. I'm now back on combined pill, which my GP isn't happy at as I suffer the odd migraine. However I can't suffer the ovulation pain, it's horrendous!!! The pill has taken all of that away. Although I do still have lower back ache etc but nothing I can't cope with. It's an exhausting condition both mentally and physically.

I really hope you get the help you need soon. Sounds like you definitely have endometriosis xx

Thank you so much. I'm sorry you suffered too and still get pain. It's horrendous. There isn't very much clear information about it out there. Thanks again for your reply x
