I just want to first say that I am completely grateful every single day to have been blessed with two beautiful children when I know this is a huge struggle for many endo sufferers. I do not wish to seem like I am complaining or ungrateful in any way that may offend anyone. I am a stay at home mum to a recently turned 4 year old and a 2 year old. As my symptoms get progressively worse, pain gets stronger and energy levels deplete, I feel like I am failing as a mother. Yes, today has been a particularly bad day which is what spurred me on to write this post and we do have good times together. I’m just feeling a bit lost and alone at the moment. I just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat and if they’ve found a solution or compromise to the situation?

Yep!!! When my pain is bad I can’t do anything and just spend majority of day layin down.... I felt bad for neglecting my girls but what can we do?

We give them what we can the rest of the time, I’m sure we notice it more so than the kids.

I have no solution but jus wanted to say ure not alone and don’t worry about it too much x

Thank you for replying. It was my eldest’s birthday at the weekend and we went all out having a party for him. Think I probably overdid it and that’s why I’m suffering more today. I know in his mind he’ll remember the great party he had not the boring days after but at the time I feel useless. X
