Spotting on Cerelle Mini pill

Hi,

does anyone have experience with Cerelle? I’m getting on well with it but my problem is I’m spotting pretty much constantly.

I have been advised to take double dose, therefore two tablets at the same time together every day. No break which is why I wanted the mini pill in the first place. But the spotting? I don’t know if will stop having to use panty liners or pads everyday.

Hi! Hope you are well! Why were u told to take double? I take one a day? I do sometimes spot still but i can live with that if it means no actual periods!! When did u start it? It takes a little while to get in your system i think.

I was told to double it up To suppress the endo as much as poss. Oh I see it’s strange cuz Iv been on it since Feb maybe that’s too short a time xx

Hiya...I've been on Cerelle since last November. I started taking it on the 1st day of my period and I did experience spotting for 3 weeks to a month. I only take one pill each day and my periods have completely stopped since then. The pain has reduced considerably but I do get some off days when the back pain is more intense. But nothing compared to what it used to be. You might want to check again with your doctor about the number of pills you should be taking daily. Xxx

Hi okay brilliant thank you, very helpful. I think it might be due to another tablet that I’m taking and just realised yesterday. So I will speak to dr about that. yeh I checked with my doctor, gyne and the nurse and they all confirmed 2 pills. When I was on I got hospitalised due to pain that’s why they suggested two and want me to stay on two. So must be the case. Thanks x
