ahh endo symptoms without painkillers

So long story short: my GP messed up my repeat prescription of omazeprole to go with my ibuprofen so I couldn't pre-dose before my period. I get an upset stomach with just the ibuprofen so the omazeprole helps settle it. I don't need it any other time of my cycle. I'm now on my first day of my period and just started ibuprofen..

At the moment I was hoping I could just manage on paracetamol for one day; oh no I was so wrong :( I didn't realise how important and essential to managing my symptoms the pre-dosing ibuprofen is.

I shall make sure my GP doesn't mess up the omazeprole next time. Luckily it's a 28 tablet pack but I only need it for about 7 days a month, so won't need to get it again for a few months.

I asked at Boots about their repeat prescription service and they seem confused; trying to suggest I need omazeprole one pack every month, even though I explained what I need it for. I'm guessing that it's just a standard service.

Trying to work out how to manage the prescription going forward, any ideas?

Sat in work feeling horrible, crampy, dizzy, bloated, I think I'll take a half day. Usually I can manage just about, but not this time.

Hi, the GP receptionist should be able to sort repeat prescriptions for you if u make a phone call (in my experience) but with omeprazole you should be able to buy an equivalent over the counter it’s called Zantac it’s more expensive for the amount of tablets you get but if u need it to take the ibrobufen then maybe it’s worth it for you. Hope this helps x
