When my endometriosis plays up the pain is so bad that I spend most mornings throwing up. The Pain killers I am on make me sick , the contraceptive injection makes me sick I feel like I can't win.
My gynecologist offered me a full hysterectomy as a last resort. I am now at the point do I go for the hysterectomy at 33 or continue with the contraceptive injection??
Feeling very very sick 🤢😭

Not sure what pain killers you are on, but I certainly had the same nausea and excruciating pain with my Endo and periods. I was given Tramadol by my GP, and providing you only take 1 or 2 when the pain is really bad, and don't follow the instructions 'every 4 hours' etc. I get on fine with them. In fact I'd say they have been an absolute Godsend.
Re: full hysterectomy. I guess it depends on your age and whether you want children etc. I didn't want children till I was 36 and met my other half. If I'd gone ahead with it as they suggested I would have been gutted as I'm now pregnant. Also, can they guarantee this will def get rid of the pain etc, as I know Endo gets everywhere inside.
I would do the castor oil pack treatment one hour every day. Just google it and u will find the instructions. It helped me tremendously! Also hot bath with Dr Teals Epsom salt with lavender
I find the vomiting the most awful part. Partly as for me it intensifies the pain plus can't keep painkillers down so it's a vicious circle. Were you being sick from the pain before your painkillers and injection or are they causing it? Have you tried an anti-sickness tablet on prescription? Small things that help me if I can catch it at the nausea stage before it progresses to vomiting - small sips of ice cold coke, nibbling on Caesar salad (god knows why it helps me), nibbling on plain crackers or ginger biscuits. It's crucial I catch it at the first sign of nausea or it rapidly progresses. Also heat on my stomach to relax it and deep breathing. I have to say while I've been on cbd oil the past 6 months I have found the sickness less frequent. Maybe worth investigating and make sure you start on a low dose and gradually increase. I'm on Simply CBD Green. As for hysterectomy - personally I'd want to know it would definitely resolve my issues and I know it wouldn't as I have endo on pelvic wall and bowel as well as ovaries and womb so unless they managed to remove every single cell of endo it would still continue xx
