What's your experience with various treatment options?

Hi,

I was looking for opinions of others who've dealt with endometriosis on the different treatments available - what ones have you tried, how have you found them, and how do they affect your day to day life?

Hi there,

I have tried many different contraceptive pills but they do not agree with me. I had the mirena coil fitted which helped with my pain for a year and then all of the pain came back, I also experienced depression and anxiety.

I follow a gluten free, vegan diet but sometimes slip up (choc) which seems to help.

I run (which can be very painful at times) and do yoga which again seems to help.

I am now with a BSGE Accredited Centre and have been with them for over a year now. I have been to Pain Management and am awaiting an operation date.

What have you tried?
