So, after being in controllable pain for a couple of years, I’ve been in excruciating pain for the last 8 months.
Seen my consultant last week and they won’t do another lap because I only had stage one endo (even though the lap really helped me get my life back the last time!).
He’s put me on the depo injection. And oh my god the side effects! My skin is breaking out and feels like it’s on fire, my boobs are agony and the mood swings are on another level!!
I also don’t understand how this is going to help with my pain so I was wondering if what other people have experienced when changing over from the pill?
I don’t have high hopes, because I was yet again told to just have a baby and remember that I’m nearly 30, so please be as honest as possible!
Is there light at the end of the tunnel or is it more endo darkness??
