Hi everyone, sorry tmi. So every period I’m either constipated or have diarrhoea. However more recently I’ve been feeling as though anything I pass during my period is feeling too big to pass through and causing even more pain than. Even though it’s no different in size to normal. Anyone else have this? Thank you X

Hi. I had this. Every period I had either diahirroea or it felt like I was giving birth. The sharp shooting pain from my back passage was so bad I sometimes had to grab hold of something while on the loo. The sharp shooting pain would sometimes happen in my day to day life walking sitting.

I found out after going for a planned hysterectomy that my bowel was stuck to my womb which then meant I had to have a small section of my bowel removed. This was all to do with endo.

I would say get it checked out with a Gyne/bowel consultant.

Hope you get it sorted.

Hi, I’m undiagnosed so can’t say it’s definitely related to endo, but I get very variable and uncomfortable bm relating to my cycle.

I now have to put my feet up on a stool (knees bent) to be able to pass a motion without pain.

Consultant suggesting endo with bowel involvement

Hope you find answers and relief x

Hi Hun I’m sorry to hear your experiencing so much discomfort.

Myself too has pain with bm, usually like the last posts sharp pain down my back passage, which buckles me and I can’t move.

I get to the point where I get so scared to go to the toilet, I’ve had to take some lactalose which can help with softening the motion.

Big hugs to you x
