Hi there!
I just got my letter from my gynae regarding my surgery back in July and it had the expected notes on excision if endometriosis, along with notes that pathology came back normal (hurray!!) but something I was not expecting was that they found what is called Allen-Masters syndrome? I don’t really know what this is so upon looking into it I found that women get it after a traumatic childbirth (it’s essentially a laceration?) but I am 25 and have never been pregnant. The only thing I can think of is that I was in a fatal car accident when I was younger where my lower abdomen was entirely black from the seatbelt damage- I looked cut in half! Could this be what caused the lasting damage? Also, does anyone have experience with Allen-Masters syndrome and can tell me if it will affect future child bearing? I just don’t really know anything about it and the internet of course gives you more doom and gloom than usually necessary!
Cheers!! XB
