Belly button months after lap

My belly button had a scab on it since I had my lap in feb but it came off about two weeks ago and now it’s really red and keeps scabbing but coming off straight away after I shower. Could this be an infection ? Round the area is really itchy as well

Please get it checked. It is not normal for it to still have a scab after so much time.

I would get it checked by your practice nurse. the wound may not of knitted together properly or a bit of internal stitch working it’s way out.
