Hi everyone, I had my pre-op assessment last week and I didn’t feel very confident afterwards. I had my weight, blood pressure and pee test. I was told my blood pressure was high and I may have had an infection and they’d call to let me know.
And that was it! I was given a leaflet about the procedure. Was I supposed to have ECG and bloods taken? It all felt very rushed and now I don’t feel comfortable.
Thanks x

Hi I never had an ECG or bloods taken. I would personally go back to your GP and discuss it with them as the clinic send your doctor a letter, that’s what happened with me anyways. I know what you mean about it being rushed as I would have liked more time to ask questions but then I guess they don’t have time for that since they have so many patients to see x
I was told I only had an ecg as I've had issues with my heart in the past, they give you a blood test the day of your op although I did have one at my pre op too x
