Any ideas...?

So my gynaecologist is clearly getting a bit annoyed now as he just can’t work out what’s wrong!

I figure if I explain it here then mayyybe someone will have the same symptoms and know something?

I’ve been getting bad pains during sex for the best part of a year now. Sorry to be blunt but the pain is just as he, or in fact anything (such as a tampon or swab etc) is inserted. It’s like a stabbing pain that throbs up to my belly button. So bad that I often cry or hold my stomach. Had loads of diagnostic stuff: assumed endometriosis. So I had a laparoscopy and hysterectomy in April; he found some endometriosis and got rid of it. But the pain is still there!! I’m not convinced it’s endometriosis causing the pain although I obviously had it. I’ve since had an mri which showed nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever.

Literally no other symptoms, just the sex pain.

Any ideas?? I’m getting so fed up!

My doctor said that would have been picked up in the hysteroscopy. Because I certainly thought from my googling that it could be that. Though I’ve definitely not got any STIs anyway. I’ve currently been given some cream to try but I’m not convinced it’s going to help... x

Definitely sounds like a similar pain. Any idea what’s causing yours? X
