Bit personal but need advice

Morning, I hope everyone is doing okay?

Sorry if this is a bit tmi or personal haha but my boyfriend might be visiting in a couple of weeks and I was wondering how long post op should I wait to have sex.

It’s been a month since I had my lap and used to have painful sex and bleeding after. I’m kinda scared that it’s still going to be the same

I was told to wait until I felt comfortable after my op which for me was just iver 3 weeks. We took it slow and I bought new bandages to cover my stitches but they were fine. I had slight bleeding but nothing that a pad and some tissues couldnt fix.

Thank you, I only have my bellybutton stitches still but my dull heavy ache seems to have come back which was cysts last time xx

If you're really nervous about it, call the staff nurse at the hospital where you had your surgery or your consultant? I rang my SN to aks her some things when I was scared of returning to intimacy and she helped me
