Liver Lesions?! Anyone had this?

Hi all, I’ll try and keep my history brief. After years of pain and many symptoms I was diagnosed with stage 4 Endo/Frozen Pelvis. I had excision surgery in 2014 and had a good few months pain free! Yay! I conceived naturally which I am so greatful for. Pain and problems started up again after giving birth. Last year I had more adhesions removed along with my right tube and ovary. Pain and problems continue and I’m now under a new Endo specialist and on his list for further surgery.

Anyway I also suffer with bladder problems and constant UTIs (under urology for this also)

Last Monday I thought I had a UTI so contacted out of hours as it was a bank holiday. I was seen by a doc who wasn’t convinced it was a UTI. She was worried about my appendix so admitted me. I had urine & blood tests and was prodded and poked but they ended up thinking my Endo was having a flare causing the sharp pain. They did want to scan me though but couldn’t until the next day.

When I went for the scan I thought they were scanning my kidneys or that area but I saw the lady’s face change, so I knew something was up. At the end she told me I have 2 lesions in my liver. I was very shocked as this was completely out of the blue. She said I might just have to be scanned every 6 months but within a few mins of me being in the waiting room she ran in saying she spoke to a consultant and they wanted me scanned again right away!

So I went off to a different department and had quite lengthy scans with someone else and had to have a canula in to send some bubbles to my liver. They said they think the lesions have benign characteristics but as they don’t know for sure what they are they would refer me for an MRI. They also said they would speak to another consultant and get their opinion.

Well I already have an appointment for this Friday and it’s for a CT scan rather than MRI.

I wasn’t too worried but now they’ve got me in so quick I am rather worried.

They asked me if I was on the pill and looked quite shocked when I said I’ve been told to take it back to back with a break every 6 months due to the Endo. The guy scanning said liver lesions can be caused by the pill but didn’t really elaborate.

I’ve been on the pill since I was 15! I’m now 35. Just had breaks from it when I had my 2 children. I’ve been taking it back to back for 4/5 years now!

I’ve had a google (naturally!) and I’m terrified at what I’ve read.

Has anyone else been in this position??

They also did a pelvic internal ultrasound and the guy said everything in the pelvis was looking very fixed again 😩😩
