‘Period pain’ with BM - endo

Hey girlies,

Weird question for you all. Do any of you get really strong period pains with bowel movements, even when not on your period? It’s not at all like intestinal cramping and is identical to period pain.

Really struggling with this at the moment, and sometimes doubled over on the toilet.

Thanks

Yes, when my period is finishing and for up to two weeks after, the pain is actually worse than my period pain x

Yup. Every time I had a bm. I’m 12 days post surgery. Endometriosis was found on both sides of my pelvic wall rectovaginal and on my rectum stage 3 x

I had my lap on Tuesday and they found endo and my bowels were stuck to my ovaries and pelvis so that explains the pain. Hoping to find out more at my follow up appointment.

Hope you’re doing well honey.
