Just looking for some advice, I will be booking an appointment with my GP but thought I’d post here too. I’ve never really known much about endometriosis but came across it a few days ago and now wondering if I may have it. I’ve always had painful periods (at the worst the pain would make me sick) I also struggled to get pregnant and had 5 miscarriages in a row, I did have investigations in to this but Endo was never mentioned. I’m now on the depo injection and don’t have periods or period pain anymore.... sometimes have very light spotting but not enough to say it’s a period. Around the same time as the spotting I have trouble with my stomach and find I have to rush to the toilet 😳 the thing that makes me think this could be Endo and not ibs is the fact that it’s only for a couple of days a month and then I’ll be fine again. I’ve kept a food diary and been unable to pinpoint any food intolerances. Has anyone else had similar and particularly still have stomach issues but without periods?

Ive been treat for symptoms of endo for a few years now n had laparoscopy. Recently im getting the same bowel troubles foods etc arent a problem either. Altho ive been treat for endo 6years now the newest specialist i saw said most of my symptoms are ibs (i dnt believe him tbh) but he said ibs is triggered by our cycle and would show the time of period. Like yourself mines guess work as im on the coil for endo. So im none the wiser n back to my gp nxt week. Be interesting to hear wot ur dr says?x
I’ve managed to get an appointment for Sunday, I’m fully expecting after reading a lot of other people’s stories that they will try telling me it’s IBS, especially since I don’t have periods so I don’t know if I’d get the really bad pain. Luckily I’ve recently taken out private medical insurance so if I’m not happy with the diagnosis I will ask for a private referral.
