It’s here. I’m nervous. Just want it over with. Need shower in a mo before leaving at 9am as 12pm arrival booked

How did you all manage the no water thing, especially with this heat 😩

Just had some toast as last supper! Already feel hungry 😝

Thanks for tips on your posts. Have packed the peppermint capsules and a pillow for the 2 hour ride home 😔

See you on the other side. Hoping I’m not last on the list for surgery as waiting is going to freak me out today

Good luck. I was there hours before I was taken down. I just slept as the hunger was unbearable. They had to actually wake me to take me down x

That’s a good shout. I’ve been whacked out so hopefully that will work. My period has arrived this morning too so in some pain

Good luck! Hope it all goes well, I wasn’t allowed to drink after 6:30am and was chugging juice up until that time! Just remember to enjoy that first cup of tea post op 😉 if it gets really bad they may let you chew some ice x

Went to theatre at 1.40pm so not too bad in thirst front despite it being 5373 degrees on the ward waiting!

Took a long time to get out of recovery so didn’t leave hospital until 7.45pm before a 2.5hour drive home. Doing ok so far though and the dreaded gas pain is nowhere near as bad as last time 👌🏻
