Can never work full time...anyone else?

With endo, and my chronic bladder condition I could never hold down a full time job, too much time off, too unpredictable.. I’m sure others have felt this.

I’m self employed as it stands but even then I’m taking so much time off with health issues.

I’m only 27, technically the prime of my life but feel like I’m watching it pass by in many ways. I’m arranging a big holiday an USA road trip for October thought I deserved a holiday after the surgeries and stress but even then you worry if you will be ok for it.

It’s a depressing thought that I’ll spend a lot of time at home than anywhere else because of this and it makes you feel borring and useless and when you see people your age either traveling the world having fun or the other side of a spectrum of starting a family but even tho I’m married I’m still on the side of just wanting to have fun at this age but this illlness is stopping me

Last summer was spent in and out of a&e for weeks on end to try and find out a diagnosis then last October I had my lap to diagnosis stage 4 then had it all removed 8 weeks ago.. but over done it so had a set back this week of back pain and leg pain.

Honestly if I had a full time job I think I’d be sacked by now x

sorry to hear that. For stage 4, do you have lesions or you also have chocolate cysts and stuff

I had some endometriomas and then just normal endometriosis but really extensive had to be on zolodex treatment for 6 months before removal as it was just thick and covered x luckily no chocolate cysts. I’m endo free on the physical level but they told me pain might never go away etc:( nature of the beast

Yea I guess the thing they can never take everything out as some are too small to see or still in the process of developing. So either older one redevelops or new ones develop. It wouldn't end.
