Six weeks post op feeling pretty good bit the last few days I’ve felt high strung and then went out for frost social outing. Had only a few drinks and then it hit me. Got really hot raving heart felt like I was gonna pass out. I feel better now just tired. I don’t know what it was or why it hit me so hard. I was breathing hard and could not drive. Is it stress?? I didn’t realise I was stressed if it was. Saw my gynaecologist who was adiment he “cured” my endo. I Just don’t know. When I’m good I’m good but last night I just couldn’t explain what happens or why. Any ideas or am I just nuts

Your surgeon may have removed the endo but it's possible whatever caused the endo in the first place is still happening. It seems to be related to a hormone imbalance. Too much oestrogen, not enough proestrogen... But hormones are complicated. I know that when I exert myself, in any way, even if it's fun, I can get that reaction you talk of. It's like a panic feeling, only I'm not anxious. I used to get it all the time but now I've reduced all the stresses in my life so it's way less often.

I've no cure for this but it seems there are lots of ideas around for how to rebalance our hormones. I've just started a diet that's got that aim (it cuts out gluten, sugar, dairy, processed foods, soy, plus I'm also not having meat or eggs) and while I'm doing that I'm looking into other natural ways to get my hormones back on track. This will hopefully stop the endo. There are a lot people who say they've been completely healed through these approaches. Worth a try!

Thanks. Glad to know I’m not crazy. Need to go back to my Gp I think. And seriously look at my diet. I don’t eat bad I just eat normal. But, yes even before my endo diagnosis I was searching for answers thinking This is hormonal Cos it is really. Can I ask though as I see a lot of women doing the endo diet. Is it really worth it? That’s a lot of food out of your diet and how are you supplementing not having those things. And how are you not starving
